One of the oldest pumping stations in the city of Patras has been transformed! The Demenikon pumping station in Patras was constructed in the framework of the Marshall Project in Greece and has been in operation since 1956. It has enabled the inhabitants of the area, through water extraction, to develop agriculture and cope with the widespread poverty of the time (according to local Residents). (more…)

Festival Inspire striked again. Greater Moncton cityscape in Canada is now an open gallery of 31 murals by international and local artists. The third edition brought 13 exceptional new ones from July 10 to 16th. Once again, the festival brought Greater Moncton a full week of cultural activities with 70 events and out-of-the-box experiences. An abandoned concrete silo looms over The Nations neighborhood, eerie and empty. The historic Nashville landmark was nearly torn down. Instead, it’s becoming the centerpiece of the community’s redevelopment. A 15-story painting is unfolding, revealing an elderly man who lived nearly all his life within sight of the silo. (more…)
