Bifido + Julieta xlf in Greece

Italian street artist Bifido, recently visited Volos (Greece) and made a new project in the neighborhood of refugees. Organised by UrbanAct the project titled Urbanartventures Vol2,it was the first collaboration with Spanish artist Julieta xlf.

They worked for 1 week in the neighborhood in contact with the people and consulting with them on what their needs are in life and hope for the future. This piece is called “Deep Blue” and talk about migrations, the possibility to travel in freedom, changing life and building a home when you feel happier. From this experience the 2 artists decided to form a parallel project from their solo careers.

In the words of the artists:

This what describes our feelings about our experience: ” through the streets and white walls we fly like little birds. People around inviting us, giving us food, hugs and spying us through the curtains hidding behind windows not strong enough to divide. And everything changes in our lives. Being a foreigner between foreigners and feeling like home ” Julieta + Bifido
