We currently inhabit a world that has been building more walls than ever before, separating communities, neighborhoods, cities and countries creating a sense of separation, exclusion, danger, and limitation. More walls are being built everyday, and destroying those walls is not the key anymore. MasterPeace aims towards transforming those Walls of Separation into Walls of Connection. (more…)

Festival Inspire striked again. Greater Moncton cityscape in Canada is now an open gallery of 31 murals by international and local artists. The third edition brought 13 exceptional new ones from July 10 to 16th. Once again, the festival brought Greater Moncton a full week of cultural activities with 70 events and out-of-the-box experiences. Here are the murals that were made and an outline of what went down! Looking back at the 2017 ‘Kufa’s Urban Art’ project which took place in Luxembourg. This year’s edition offered more than 3 months of action: performances by artists from around the world, numerous educational activities, conferences, seminars, film screenings, multidisciplinary workshops, artistic encounters and a large open festival -air. Said Dokins has just finished his last work in Munich for MUCA and we had the opportunity to see the process of it. The Giant Façade in the exterior of the Museum belongs to a power plant and it has a 1000 square meters wall which makes it the largest painting in the city. (more…)
Telmo Miel, street art duet from the Netherlands, recently presented their latest mural which depicts Rolv Wesenlund (1936 – 2013), a Norwegian comedian, actor, singer, writer and clarinetist. The mural was painted as a commision in honour of his memory in his hometown, Horten in Norway. Titled as ”That Socks”- the mural comes to be added on to a number of great works by TelmoMiel in Norway. (more…)
An abandoned concrete silo looms over The Nations neighborhood, eerie and empty. The historic Nashville landmark was nearly torn down. Instead, it’s becoming the centerpiece of the community’s redevelopment. A 15-story painting is unfolding, revealing an elderly man who lived nearly all his life within sight of the silo. (more…)
