All about Eve – The title of a new mural by Piotr Chrzanowski and Urban Forms Foundation, made at the Campus of the Medical University in Lodz, Poland.
In the beginning of September Greek artist INO was invited, by Urban Forms Foundation, to create an amazingly realistic piece in the city of Lodz, Poland. Inspired by mythology and modern day human power!
Urban Forms Foundation decided to celebrate it’s 10th anniversary by bringing new kind of murals to the city, so this year’s Urban Forms Festival was special.
The Urban Forms Foundation and the Museum of Łódź invited Ivan Ninety and Johannes Mundinger to create this big and great wall in Poland. “Still Life with Adler” is a mural honoring the the artist/teacher Jankel Adler.
The human-size mural is a freestyle painting, which composition is based on the repetitive rhythm of elements in the white boxes. These elements viewed from left to right produce the illusion of a slowly growing movement of the subject, similarly as for the single film frames or a slow motion footage.
Piotr Chrzanowski AKA Chrzan and his crew with the Urban Forms Foundation painted a new site-specific mural “Adam’s Heart” in the city of Lodz, Poland. It refers to Michelangelo’s “The Creation of Adam”.
