Crystal Ship invited Dourone to create a piece for the Artselaar Cultural Center in Belgium. The project took place last month and it is a visual impact that is used for sowing awareness linking respect, diversity and freedom.
Crystal Ship festival just ended and Spanish artist, Dourone attended by creating a monumental piece of work. Crystal Ship is held in Belgian city Ostend and has always showcased an excellent line up.
Spanish artist Dourone, whom we always follow closely, was invited by LE MUR Brussels to create a new piece of art in the city and more precisely in Place d’Espagne. His style can be identifed on the first look you give to the piece.
Gola Hundun has painted one of the sides of The Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) after being selected by more than 2000 votes by the university students. It is titled “Causa Prima” which refers to the primordial energy. That is the implicit base of any single form of life (at least on our planet), The Sun.
Take a look of what went down during the infamous Crystal Ship Festival this summer. If you haven’t heard, it is a contemporary art festival that specializes in public spaces, producing over 25 installations, sculptures and murals per year.
In the past 8th -9th of April the city of Oostende in Belgium received with open arms the second edition of ”The Crystal Ship” Festival. And the result couldn’t have been greater, it included from huge pieces to small installations, from simple (but incredible pieces) to innovating paintings.
Johannes Mundinger recently visited Ostend, Belgium, where he stayed for a week to participate at the Crystal Ship festival, a public art festival (mostly with murals).
