Feoflip is the alter ego of a boy born in Lanzarote, in Canary Islands, far away from the facilities and the support of the urban art. His story began around the year 2000, when painting in the street didn’t receive any artistic recognition. He moved at night to create his pieces. Since then he has not stopped painting on walls and always accompanied by his blackbook.
Our Greek friend Dreyk The Pirate has been painting his little pirates on the greek island of Syros. This time the adventures of our favourite pirate involves some booze as he whistles on after droping a bottle from his box. Théo VALLIER is a French artist who has lived and worked in Phnom Penh, Cambodia since 2007. His work is inspired by the Khmer mythology witch he combines with an urban style. Since 2015 he is also the co-founder and co-organizer of the “Cambodia Urban Art Festival” in order to promote Street Art Creation in Cambodia.
Nuart Aberdeen, the little son of the Stavanger-based Nuart Festival, has just kicked off. Twelve street artists have being invited to Scotland to paint over the Granite City, which will definitely look less grey after this week. (more…)
