Urbanact, with guest artist Same84, completed another public fresco in the context of the launch of Urbanact’s collaboration with the Municipality of Volos. The fresco was implemented in the city’s Swimming Pool and the citizens already enjoy its view. Volos is one of Greece’s main port cities and lately it has turned to street art in an effort to beautify some of its areas. (more…)
Johannesburg-based street artist paints a giant lion in Manhattan to raise awareness for endangered wildlife. Best-known for his large-scale street art around South Africa, Sonny has just completed an enormous 10-meter-high mural of a majestic lion, that looks down over the streets of Lower Manhattan. Street artist Misha Most finished a 10.800 sq. m. monumental wall painting. This is the largest mural in the world, which belongs to one artist. The project was curated by Sabina Chagina and the Creative association Artmossphere. The mural was presented to the public as part of the urban art festival ArtOvrag in Vyksa, Russia. (more…)
