Italian street artist Bifido has finalised his latest works of paste ups. The works were made for “oltremare festival” in San Cataldo, a little village in the south of Italy. In this area the government is building a gas pipeline and to do it they are cutting many olive trees. Since part of the local economy is based on olive oil production, the local community has been reacting. (more…)

‘Art in Progress’ for the city of Patra in Greece 07/25/2017

One of the oldest pumping stations in the city of Patras has been transformed! The Demenikon pumping station in Patras was constructed in the framework of the Marshall Project in Greece and has been in operation since 1956. It has enabled the inhabitants of the area, through water extraction, to develop agriculture and cope with the widespread poverty of the time (according to local Residents). (more…)

Joshila Dhaby

Joshila Dhaby is a self-taught Mauritian artist. Originally working with watercolor and acrylic, Joshila turned to spray paint and started painting on walls and metal sheets. She uses a ‘tape and masking process’, stencils and layers to create rich paintings with bold fields of colors. (more…)
