What better way to see the world from a different perspective other than flight? Inside Loading Bridge E31 in Rome’s Leonardo Da Vinci Airport, passengers are being welcomed by an anamorphic reproduction of Leonardo’s Vitruvian Man: thanks to a precise disposition of colors, passengers see the artwork, projected on various surfaces, perfectly composed as soon as they enter the corridor.
Everyone knows Leonardo as an icon of Italian creativity and genius; and his studies on flight and machines gave name to Fiumicino’s Airport – still, many don’t know that even the first known exercise in anamorphism is attributed to him.
