Ayia Napa Street Art Festival 2014

In the beggining of November 2014, a Street Art Festival took place in the corner of the mediterranean sea. Cyprus, an island not so famous for its street art, managed to organise a truly innovative festival for its standards. Ayia Napa – mostly known for its glorious club scene in the summer time, has set the example for the region.

During the Festival, several talented and artists including (Aec Interesni Kazki (Ukraine), Rate (Bulgaria), Bane (Switzerland), Bisser (Belgium), Simoni Fontana & Ser (Greece), Nar, Cacao Rocks (Greece), Jens Besser and Dome (Germany), and Paparazzi and Pest (Cyprus) created some original art designs on building exteriors, as chosen by the citizens of Ayia Napa. The aim was to upgrade rundown areas and enhance the town’s urban environment.

Below you can check out the vibrant works and feel that mediteranean vibe.
