Here are some photos from Hilton Alves’s latest wave murals. Murals 37 & 38 are part of his 101 Perfect Waves – International Mural Project which started back in 2013. In bringing the ocean to the public art scene, Hilton hopes to share the inspiration from the sea and waves with people all around the world. His aim in painting large 101 perfect wave murals is to inspire people to to take part in environmental preservation and have a greater relationship with art. With the sheer awe of his vibrant creations comes a greater appreciation of our greatest water treasure and the power of art itself.

So far, he has painted murals in locations like Oahu, Maui, Los Angeles, Miami Art Basel, Houston, Orlando (USA), Israel, Singapore and Brazil.
