Home Street Home

Street Art Exhibition, HOME STREET HOME: 765 rue de Montpellier, Centrayrargue, France.

On 17 January 2014, the association FMR project, organised an exhibition in an unusual house of 200 sqm, for the opening of the first edition “Home Street Home”.
More than 15 works were created by 17 street artists, including : Levalet, Leo and Pipo, HOPNN, ocabrita, Madame Moustache, Baubo Charles, BMX, Wizard, say 132 … and more.

Inside, the 2 floors, the bathroom in the garage and through the stairs up to the tower, each artist occupied a room to discover an authentic artistic universe.

FMR project, it is a story of two friends, Coralie and Tom, urban contemporary art enthusiasts and collectors. They recently founded an association, “the FMR Project” playing with these three letters to refer to the word “Ephemeral”, a sort of nod to the temporary nature Street Art. They look for buildings that are planned for demolition and hence this house worked great for a street art exhibition days before its distruction. All Art went down with it. This crazy and original project is to be added to Montpellier and its surrounding ephemeral artistic events, allowing these artists to showcase their world through a performance on the walls of the room that is dedicated to them.
