New wall by Elian Chali in Brasil

Elian Chali sent us his last anamorphic project in Fortaleza, Brazil for Festival Concreto. The mural was curated by Narcelio Grud. It comes inspired by the bad news of the victory of ultra-right president candidate, Jair Bolsonaro.This latest political outcome in Brasilian elections doesnt justify the use of colors these days. It is represented Just by a huge black cloud coming.

The mural is 6x50mts, made with Acrylic paint on an old facade.

@artwalk_festival the largest visual intervention in the history of Patras, 🇬🇷 has transformed the city into an open museum of murals.

This year’s ongoing 9th edition is reaching its final stage and for the first time it brings together and presents this year’s attending street artists in a unique house group exhibition.

Artists participating in the exhibition are: @artez_online (Serbia), @d.r.e.z (Australia), @gospel.ath (Greece), @rouge.hartley (France), @joan_aguilo (Spain), @nean_kingdom (Belgium), @seikon87 (Poland), @vile_graffiti (Portugal).

#ArtWalk-in exhibition is an excellent opportunity to discover the possibility of these artists moving from the scale of the public space of the mural to a more personal reflective context.

Oulu, in preparation for its role as the European

Oulu, in preparation for its role as the European Capital of Culture in 2026, has been enriched with a mural that celebrates the natural beauty and unique character of the city and its surroundings. The artwork combines key elements of the local landscape and flora into a composition that not only beautifies the area but also serves as a lasting symbol of Oulu’s cultural and natural heritage.

@fabiopetani was selected from a pool of around 500 artists by a jury to create this mural. At the center of the piece are the stylized waters of the Oulujoki River, which flows through the city and has played a vital role in its history. The river is depicted with flowing currents, symbolizing the life that moves through Oulu, connecting the city’s past, present, and future, while linking nature, culture, and the people with their land.

Parees festival celebrates Asturian identity.🎨
The seventh edition of the @pareesfest expands Oviedo’s urban art heritage with three new works, reaching a total of 40, with local, national and international signatures.

1. The legacy of Faro, immortalized by @maratdanilyan Marat Morik.
Marat ‘Morik’ Danilyan has paid tribute to the ancestral pottery of Faro, a thousand-year-old tradition that still survives in Asturias. His mural, located on Luis Álvarez Fueyo street, captures the essence of this art and highlights the need to preserve the cultural heritage of the region.

2.Tribute to the Asturian madreña
Morik has also dedicated a work to the madreña, a symbol of traditional Asturian crafts, on the same Luis Álvarez Fueyo street. This mural not only celebrates the madreñera trade, but also raises a reflection on the importance of preserving traditional trades in the absence of generational change.

3. Expansion of the mural heritage
With these three new works and the conservation of the mural in Ciudad Naranco, @pareesfest expands its legacy in Oviedo, reaching a total of 40 murals in its seven editions. Local, national and international artists have left their mark on the city, contributing to the artistic and cultural diversity of the region.

The renowned international artist Jorge Rodríguez

The renowned international artist Jorge Rodríguez-Gerada @gerada_art performs an impressive work of land art in Villablino for Caminos Naturales, with the collaboration of the Villablino City Council.

The piece, which represents an athlete in a wheelchair, stands out not only for its monumental size, but also for its powerful message: the urgent need to ensure the accessibility of all forest areas for people with disabilities.

“Opening Horizons” whose size can only be fully appreciated from the sky, was unveiled in a spectacular way coinciding with the 14th stage of La Vuelta 2024, between Villafranca del Bierzo and Villablino.

‘THE UGLY DUCKLING’

After taking the long trip from Penang (Malaysia), where Lithuanian Ernest Zacharevic is living today, it’s been wonderful having the artist in Aalborg, Denmark.
Renowned around the world for an expression, often in pale colours with motives of playing children interacting with the environment, Ernest Zacharevic spent the first week taking in the city of Aalborg and its surroundings, before deciding on a finale theme.
At the mural, raising above the parking space downtown Aalborg, we’ll now find a large origami swan folded in an old Danish banknote from 1952, with the portrait of H.C. Andersen on it.
Holding on to the neck of the swan, a little girl is sitting in its wings as in a tiny paper nest.
