MIKA creates “Rescue in a sea of flowers”

The new MIKA wall ” Rescue in a sea of flowers ” now decorates the premises of a French business while bringing art into the business. After the work of Dourone a few weeks ago and the sublime facade ” el humano libre, primero razona y luego ” painted inside the building, it was now the turn of French artist Michaël Husser, aka MIKA , to take up the challenge.

MIKA painted on wood, on an area of 300m2 fully covered with disjointed slats laid horizontally. The challenge is multiple: cover this absorbent wood without underlay while retaining reserves to not denature the whole, respond to the brief of the group of employees who, like Dourone, chose MIKA to bring art into their business .
After having entrusted the mission to Dourone to work on the Human inside the building, the ECODIS team requested for the outside part, to associate its image with a friendly, generous, optimistic content. Not a dark nature, but a lush and abundant nature, with plants and animals reflecting both terrestrial and aerial environments. A hummingbird was welcome and a reference to the sea was also desired. Enjoy the nice pictures provided by the artist…
