Mandela Tribute on walls 2014-12-05

Today marks the one-year anniversary of Nelson Mandela’s death. A man that inspired many and  brought profound change in South Africa. In his memory we decided to put up a collection of walls from around the world that were made in his name! Enjoy !

He anticipated, he challenged, he interpreted, he decided, he aligned, he learned. Mandela served 27 years in prison,he gained international acclaim for his activism, having received more than 250 honours, including the 1993Nobel Peace Prize, the US Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Soviet Order of Lenin. He is held in deep respect within South Africa, where he is often referred to by his Xhosa clan nameMadiba, or as Tata (“Father”); he is often described as the “Father of the Nation“.
