Jupiterfab on exploring our relationship with digital technology

Street artist Jupiterfab returns with 3 new walls which are focused on exploring the relationship between human beings and the impact of digital technology.

Two of the works are based in Guadalajara, Mexico and one in Memphis, Tennessee for the Paint Festival 2020.

The first artwork, titled “Keep me updated” explores the relationship Covid-Digital technology throwout two objects: cover shield and mobile phone.

The second in Memphis cut people head’s part to stress the disconnection we are living in real life between each other in favour of the virtual connection.

The last piece, the most recent is titled “Algorithm” and underlines how depending on the person our Internet searches can end up in different results.

”Playing with the building’s architecture on one side I portrayed a girl and on the other a guy, both typing the word “love”. If in the case of the girl Google created the sentence “love is great”, in the other side of the wall Google created the sentence “love sucks”. Clearly the mural is satyrical but wants to underline the way our searches and our decisions can be controlled and influenced on the Internet.”
