The new work of Catalan artist, Josep Fernández Margalef in Madrid is not a common graffiti piece because… look inside and you will see why!
Josep Fernández Margalef is a Spanish artist, born in Barcelona, who is the winner of this year of the Pinta Malasaña 2018 urban art festival. The winner piece is denouncing the fragility of the building in the Malasaña neighborhood. It was done in the ground floor of a building that is in big risk of ruining and where several people live (located at Pez number 3).
The artist used hundreds of stickers to form the Malaysian motto with big letters. This made the jury appreciated the piece because it was done in an area of the building full of posters and the message of the artists in every single sticker is “Muy Fragil” (Very Fragile).
