Iacurci, who spent several days in Oviedo (Spain) speaking with different associations, people and local shops of the neighbourhood, decided to paint a colourful apple tree with 7 beautiful birds, honoring the name of the area, ‘Pumarin’, which comes from ‘Pomarada’, meaning ‘apple tree field’ and representing the multi ethnic spirit of the place.
