Small murals in a cycladian port

It is unusual to be able to create legal street art in Greek Islands. This project is sanctioned. It will be done in such a way that the art will not disrupt the look and feel of the port.

Although we have been working on this street art project for over a year, we just got the permission today to go ahead and paint. We are a seasonal art space and will be closing in about 3 weeks. Instead of waiting until next year June, we are doing a preliminary run this yea.r, (in order to further build confidence in the work we do).

Last year, we created a mural in one of the elementary schools (with great success). In addition to the project in the port, we will create 2 additional murals in other schools. If you are in Greece or close by and are interested in participating in this project, please let us know. In addition, please send us a link to your work.

This project will be done from the 7th – 10th September.

We will be able to provide transportation to and from Athens, the painting supplies, accommodation and food.

Our goal is to make art more accessible by showcasing it in unusual and unexpected canvasses/locations.
