Art for a cause ( by M. A. Valenca)

Dedicated to the World Mental Health Day, on the 10th October, artistic interventions have been made on the wall of the Psychiatric Hospital Center in Lisbon (Rua das Murtas), Portugal.
These interventions are carried out in the framework of the partnership established between the Urban Art Gallery (GAU) and the Board of CHPL Administration, who formulated invitations to the artists Aspen, Eime, José Carvalho, Mar, Miguel Ayako, Nark, Nomen, Odeith, Robô, Slap e Smile, to produce something centered on the subject “face”.

The artworks extend for more than one kilometer in which the paintings have blue as the dominant color, and when the work is completed it will be the largest Urban Art area of the capital.

You may consider a modest donation — however much you can afford, when it comes from the heart, it’s the kind of gesture that makes us warm with appreciation.
