Finland’s largest public art art event, UPEA, brings the festival atmosphere around the country in September. The UPEA18 Art Festival is home to 12 Finnish cities with 20 permanent public works. The first works of the festival have been completed in Iisalmi, Espoo, Salo and Oulu. Work is currently underway in eight locations across the country.

The aim of the Upeart Association is to promote, maintain and develop the activities of street circles, to consolidate the position of street artists in the art field and to strengthen the status of street art. To accomplish its purpose, the association organizes hobby, art, visual and cultural events and competitions related to street art and competitions.
