In this way, from the gallery we have abdicated our selective criteria to transfer it to those who almost never exercise it, and that they are the ones who value the work of other artists. A mini curatorship closely linked to their work, since the work of both people is shown in pairs at Swinton Gallery.

This process has been very enriching for the gallery. On the one hand, these invitations have allowed us to show the work of different artists that we already knew and admired, but with whom we had never worked, and on the other, they have allowed us to discover the work of artists who were outside our orbit and whose works we they have seemed fascinating.

The invitation of our artists has been based on their own criteria and, therefore, we have also asked them to complement this mini curation with a text that explains the reasons for their selection of that specific artist to be exhibited with him or her.

From Swinton, we want this exhibition to allow the greatest number of names to share space, and to give visibility to new artists that we would never have thought of, thus forming a celebration of art that coincides with our sixth anniversary.

In these times when social distance is imposed, we believe that it is necessary to strengthen other ties, promote visibility and generate artistic relationships that allow leaving physical relationships temporarily on standby to resume them with force when the health situation allows it.
