The fourth edition of Cagliari Urbanfest – Generazioni Metropolitane, the first urban art festival in Cagliari born to promote urban and social re-generation.
As in previous editions, Cagliari Urbanfest 2025 comprises three lines of action:
– Urban artworks in Sant’Elia district;
– Workshops focused on the relationship between art and the environment for local citizens and students;
– Visual arts exhibitions concerning the festival’s main topic: environmental and social sustainability.
Cagliari Urbanfest 4th edition will take place in October 2025, featuring artists operating at both the local and international levels such as Ciredz. We are also working on a “street art incursion” into another Cagliari’s district which will likely be realized in July by Crisa, but we are still waiting for some bureaucratic papers.
Cagliari Urbanfest – Metropolitan Generations, is the first urban art festival conceived and organized by the Asteras Cultural Association in the context of the city of Cagliari. We believe that urban art, part of art and visual language, is a powerful means of communication, capable of transforming places and people. Let’s start from Sant’Elia, a district on the Gulf of Angels, to mark a new time, opening up new perspectives. We have the task of making urban space more sustainable, in social and environmental terms. Following the festival, from October to January, you will discover murals, contemporary art exhibitions, conferences, meetings with artists, visits to murals and much more.
