The call for a mural realization for Street Art Festival 2022 is still open. Taking place in the Czech Rep city of Olomouc – Join the fun – soon ends.

Dimensions: height: 20, 5 m X width: 11, 5 m / Beware of Vertical unevenness in the middle of the wall

Estimated realization date: 10.–20. 9. 2022

Festival/expert monument preservation requirements: with respect to strict criteria set by an Office for Monument Preservation it is necessary to handle this assignment with sensitivity and with respect to the public space and cultural significance of the building, especially in regards to colours‘ choosing, otherwise the painting won’t be approved

Permitted colours: monochromatic, combinations of bright/beige, black and grey shades

ℹ️ The base of the wall will be unified in shade No. 36423 (reed green), we will provide it.

Motive of the mural – artists can choose to illustrate one of the following themes:

1) SAFE 2022 theme:
Community, reciprocity, neighbourhood, combined with a context of ongoing war in Ukraine, european view on democracy and freedom

2) Open (Abstract) topic inspired by the building and its surroundings, by history of Olomouc city or of the theatre

What do we offer:

The winning artists shall have covered all expenses:
– accommodation
– painting material
– artist fee 2000 EUR

We will engage artist in social activities including cultural events, VIP events and media support

The winning artist shall be elected by an expert jury.
Application forms can be submitted together with mural proposal until 30th July 2022
