eMense is a publisher and event production company based in Netherlands but working on projects up in the nordics.
We came up with an artistic competition surrounding the game Diablo 2: Resurrected and local sculpting artists in the nordic region for creating a character from the game. Diablo 2: Resurrected is a ‘remake’ of the original from 2000, therefore the character should be sculpted out of recycled materials. For this, every artist will receive a budget of € 2.500. This so-called “scrapyard-challenge” has to result in a character statue between 30 centimeters to 1 meter. Any sort of materials can be used, but must be used or recycled. The artists will get about 10 days to create a statue. We’re looking for 2 artists who would like to participate.
On top of the creation budget, we’re also making available € 5.000 for the winning artist to donate to a charity of choice.
Diablo 2: Resurrected is set to release September 23th. We would like to pick two artists by Tuesday September 7th.
You may consider a modest donation — however much you can afford, when it comes from the heart, it’s the kind of gesture that makes us warm with appreciation.
