OZMO recently made this dedicated piece of art work refering to the Morandi bridge fall tragedy. Titled: ‘Psyche Revived by Cupids Kiss’, this site specific work is dedicated to the victims only a few yards away from the evacuated red zone in Via Fillak.
This is an ideal embrace for Genova and Italy on the anniversary on 14 August 2018. Ozmo inspiration for every project starts from the context he’s working on: researching the history, social implications and local culture of the area.
The Canova statue “Amore and Psyche” was chosen by the artist to transform the mourning and loss into a positive message for the Certosa neighborhood. This mural symbolises a way to connect, heal and give new hope for the future of Genova and the nation.
The mural was made for On the Wall, a project by the City of Genova and Linkart Association.
