New walls by Gola Hundun

Gola Hundun has participated as an artist guest at the festival Cvtá. The place is Civitacampomarano an almost abandoned town in the heart of Molise region in Italy, a region almost abandoned too.

His intervention is part of his last investigation ( 2017 focus ) which is a kind of transcription homo sapiens impact on the environment since our beginning with the born of technology, from Neolithic to digital era. The fact that human being transforms landscape for his necessity instead to adapt himself to it, since the prehistoric time during the colonization out of Africa till nowadays where we change river flux, shape of the mountain , connect seas etc,.,. ( sciences call this period Anthropocene)
In this new phase of his work, he plays with a gestural paint let say more action painting, destructured shapes, violent and soft.
Gola has played with the contrast of red and dark colors ( which are the action painting part of the piece, destructive part )  and the green and bright color which he use generally to the shapes and the constructive part of the composition.
Red with all his archetypical concept + the use of multinational made of it.
