LEGO Street Art

Most of us have some memory of endless hours occupied with colourfull bricks and humanoids with countless combinations of outfits. Be it building homes, directing imaginery situations, struggling with instructions or even better improvising that impossible perfect structure. Of course we are talking about the collosal game manufaturing brand of LEGO. These plastic cubes are now established, decades later, as a symbol of happy childhood and endless playtime. Intentionally or not, somehow, LEGO has also become a hip tool to use in urban art, either by using the blocks to reconstruct broken walls or just as symbols that represent the power of the toy industry. Of course we dont promote LEGO as a brand nor can we forget that it has been collaborating with dirty companies such as Shell to strengthen their brand name, what better than targeting children!? Besides that or maybe because of that, artists around the world have used these toys on many occasions to pass a message of social awareness or simply to entertain our imagination just like these toys used to do when we were kids.

Below is a collection we ve found interesting and we gathered it for all to enjoy. It just proves that imagination after all, is the driving force behind everything we create. Just like when we were kids.
