Spaik is a Mexican street artist who creates colourfull works mainly in Mexico but also in other countries of South America. Spaik uses traditional local themes in most of his paintings as wells as mythical references from native tales.
Honor One writes honor719 and he has been painting in the streets since the 80s. He’s classically trained by students of Norman Rockwell, Grant Wood and French Surrealists. He has two art degrees, including a BFA and an MFA. All of his work is freehand and most of his known art work is done with spray paint. Elisa Capdevila has painted a community mural in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat Barcelona. The project, framed within the Pla Integral Les Planes – Blocs la Florida, is part of the council’s initiative and Rebobinart has been the responsible for its production. (more…)
