Ana Azzue Gallira & Ori Alon Installation US & Canada Road Trip

“Hidden Fortune Wheel” is the new installation from Ana Azzue Gallira & Ori Alon, that was touring the US & Canada.

By the words of the artist Ori Alon:

“It is a collaboration between Ana Azzue Gallira, a sculpturer and visual artist based in California and myself, social practice artist and cartoonist. I had the idea for about a year until I became Ana’s mentor for her MFA at SUNY New Paltz NY and we started developing it together.

It took about two months to finalize the concept as we brainstormed many different options for the wheel until we finally decided to let each participant imagine (and not act as) themselves in someone else’s shoes. Ana built five different versions of large wheels and I made a version that can be used with a vinyl record and mounted on a wall or a street pole and we installed about 200 of these around the US and Canada.”

Great Job Ana and Ori!!
