Alessio “Bolo” Bolognesi e VIDA KREI

Alessio “Bolo” Bolognesi returns to paint in his city, Ferrara, together with Psiko, Edoardo Mendez and Stefano Capozzi, his companions in the Vida Krei crew. The project, requested by CGIL-SPI and APE (Estense Public Assistance), was carried out for the re-qualification of the headquarters of the two bodies, which is located in Viale Krasnodar. It is in continuity with the interventions already carried out in the neighborhood on the Matteotti school and on the buildings of social housing (see Oreste the raccoon and Marielle Franco by Bolo on his Instagram account @alessio_bolo_bolognesi).

The topic of the intervention concerns the activities of CGIL-SPI (pension support and assistance to the elderly) and APE (Health care services / Ambulances).
Alessio “Bolo” Bolognesi, proposer and coordinator of the project, worked on the part of the building occupied by CGIL together with Stefano Capozzi, while Psiko and Edoardo Mendez on the walls of the side occupied by APE.

An old lady appears smiling on the side painted by Bolo, while listening to music with headphones on his head, to testify that retirement is not an end, but the way to rediscover pleasures that working life hardly ever allows us to enjoy.

Stefano Capozzi intervenes in continuity with his abstract works, Psiko applies his “glitching” technique to scenes of medical intervention and Mendez continues painting ambulances with his pictorial style.
