8 Artist Murals in Kyiv Metro station

Recently a new mural project titled “More than us” occurred in the city of Kyiv. This beautiful public art space is available for all the visitors of “Osokorky” metro station, that was built in 1992.Today the station has acquired a fresh look,decorated by well-known mural artists from all over the world, during a four months period eight artist has been working on their masterpieces to create a unique experience that Ukraine has never seen before .

The involved artists included: Kraser(Spain), Spear(Belgium), Jasm1(Switzerland), BkFoxx(New York), Mathiew Dawn(Belgium), Mata Ruda(Costa Rica), Apollo Torres(Brazil), Alexander Britcev (Ukraine) got a chance to express their views, values or concerns that arise in a society these days, regardless of race, location or citizenship.

The creation of such a project is aiming to unite people and lift up, not only the heads, as the ceilings are high and murals are huge, but the thoughts and ideas of our people, as the purpose of art is to encourage thinking…
